Competitive Axe throwing is a well known Canadian past-time that’s becoming increasingly well known in the United States.

BURY THE HATCHET had a fairly decent presence on social media, but they were looking to expand their online presence and attract new customers to their venue through an engaging website and a strong brand identity. The objective of this project was to create a new website and brand identity that reflects the brand's values and personality, and attracts new customers to their venue. The website was to be user-friendly, visually appealing, and provide all the necessary information for customers to book their axe throwing experience.

Gauge the distance!

I started with extensive research into the axe throwing industry, including the competitors and the target audience. I also gathered information from the client about their brand values, mission, and vision. The goal being to develop a new brand identity for the client, including a logo, color palette, typography, and imagery. I chose a bold and modern design to appeal to the target audience and reflect the excitement and adrenaline rush of axe throwing.

Using the brand identity as a guide, our team designed a new website that was both visually appealing and user-friendly. We used high-quality images and graphics to showcase the venue and the experience, and created clear calls-to-action for customers to book their axe throwing session.

So What Is Axe Throwing?

Before launching the website, we conducted extensive testing to ensure all features were working correctly and the website was fully functional. Once the client was satisfied with the final product, we launched the website and provided them with training on how to manage and update their website.
